Remember Janet Jackson?

Remember all the hoopla? I was going through some old stuff, and I found a Rolling Stone from 1992 with this picture:


A careful ogler will notice (eventually) that this is some sort of see through garment that (theoretically) covers more skin than a traditional 1 piece suit. But, it shows more than Janet ever wanted too.

I don’t have a problem with either of these performers or the scope or circumstance of what they exposed. It’s just funny that the clock went 12 years ahead after this ad, but the culture regressed. Everything else being equal, skin shouldn’t be scary.
