INO Charts and Quotes – Energy – Light Sweet Crude Oil Sep 2004 (NYMEX:CLU4)

Earlier this spring & summer, oil was less per barrel than it is now, but my price at the pump was 0.70 higher.  (Of course the oil companies were making record profits, according to their financial disclosures, but let’s just forget about THAT)  Could it be that prices were inflated then?  Or are prices suppressed now?

And why would supprressing prices now raise my eyebrows?  When in doubt, ask lying creeps, I always say.

Whatever happend to that windfall profits tax?  Aaaah, the 70s…
