  1. Thank you for thinking positively, S.P. It’s really difficult for me to do, atm.
About the only thing that I’m feeling okay about is that Obama is now my state senator. Not sure if the he or the country will be ready for him as a presidential candidate in ’08–though I’d be overjoyed if I thought he was ready and could pull it off.
I wonder though if instead of focusing strongly on an individual candidate, that the Democratic party doesn’t instead need to make the party platform R-E-A-L-L-Y simple in order to attract the “mom’s with no college education” and others that revere Bush. I think we need to dumb the message down. It seemed to work extremely well for the GOP.

  2. thanks. Not dumbed down, so much as accessible. I am starting a list soon and I hope you will add to it. I have 40 gb of space somewhere on teh intraweb that we can use to make it available to others who want to steal some spare bandwidth.

  3. Yes you are right, “accessible” is so much less offensive. When I left the comment. 😉 I was still stunned by the magnitude of the loss.
I think it’s important to have a comprehensive, inclusive, “accessible” platform put together soon so that by 2008, there is no question about “who” we are or what our goals are and why our side is the better choice.
