RIP, Dude

OG Fred passes on this bright ray of sunshine:

Architect of modern U-M athletics Canham, 87, died. This is the guy who made tailgating the experience it is, opened college football to family audiences, plastered big ‘M’s on everything you can sell to make money, before everybody else. Marketing filled Michigan Stadium. A full Michigan Stadium and prodict licensing means money for Title IX and non-revenue sports. He made the business model.

Plus, he hired Bo, which basically made him the boss of God.
