I hate corporate media more, if you can believe that…

ABC15 this morning spent 10 whole seconds treating the house renewal of the Orwell (nee “Patriot”) Act as a matter of fact good thing, because the president wanted it. Some parts would now expire in 10 years and other provisions would be in place indefinitely. “Indefinitely” is how they put it, instead of “fucking forever” (since we’re busy discrediting the judiciary, our last hope for constitutional protection is dim).

Then they spent 10 minutes on remakes of the Bad News Bears and some other POS movie coming out.

At least the Senate has a slightly more sane take on the renewals, so maybe Orwell won’t get a completely free ride.
