Jun. 27, 2007 10:04 AMA 79-year-old man is a suspect in the theft in Phoenix of more than 700 cases of wine reportedly worth more than $250,000. The state Department of Liquor Licenses and Control says the suspect owns the building housing the Hungarian Wholesale Liquor Store, where the thefts occurred. A 57-year-old man also has been arrested in the investigation. The liquor department says more than 6,000 bottles of wine with the Vivamus label – which it says sells for about $40 a bottle – were stolen between February and April. More than half of the stolen bottles have been recovered, and investigators are confident that they’ll also recover the rest.
