2006: Welcome to the NFL, pretty boy
2007: Welcome to injured reserve.
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart will miss the rest of the year because of a broken collarbone, ending his second NFL season after just five games.
He was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, two days after his injury during a victory over the St. Louis Rams. Leinart, a left-hander, fractured his left collarbone while getting sacked before halftime and spent the second half on the sidelines.
Dear Matt:
Now you can go to the party. Because you’re out, Winston Smith may be giving me his Cards tickets for Sunday. Yay, flagrant violations of NFL policy. Yay, no fear of that awful ball of fire in the sky. However, Pink Taco parking. Fuck. Can I ride with you?
Your pal.
