Huskers’ Callahan whines that his Dead Man Walking job prospects are hurting recruiting 

“Nebraska took a major hit on the recruiting front this week when star running back Jonas Gray of Southfield, Mich., announced he was de-committing and taking another look at Michigan and LSU. He told the Omaha World-Herald that he feared even if Callahan were retained for next year the coach would be on a ‘short leash.'”

Dear star running back Jonas Gray of Southfield, Mich:

Come to Michigan. Callahan has no future. It’s a done deal. He wants certainty? Working the ESPN studio show with Lou Holtz next season is the only certainty. Callahan assreaped NU football. While they deserve to be humbled, they are not likely to put up with an indefinite skid into mediocrity. “Dr.” Tom is pissed that they canned his boy for 4th choice Callahan. No one else is dumb enough to take that job. Stick a fork in him. Callahan is done.
