A speed camera in Newbury is left with a cracked lens and smoke damage after a suspected attack A SPEED camera on Newbury’s Greenham Road was left with a cracked lens and smoke damage after a suspected attack last week.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Safer Roads Partnership, Dan Campsall, said: “It looks like vandalism but we’re not sure how they have gone about it.
“But that is OK, because it was a stupid idea, and we’re really sorry to be such Orwellian jerksa about the whole mess.”
OK, the last part is untrue. Sadly.
