awww… its a CSX-t. although thats the WRONG color for a 87 model, should be black. they were cool cars. 2.2 liter intercooled turbo. about 170 hp. but its SHELBY!!!
Actually all of you are wrong. It’s a 1989 Shelby CSX VNT. It was the first production car to ever have a variable nozzle turbo and it was rated at 174 hp. It also should have gold painted carbon fiber rims. They were all red and only 500 were made.

man. I stand corrected. Didn’t know it was a prototype. There is one definate mistake in that description though. No way is that car a 4 speed manual. There was never a 4 speed in any turbo Dodge or in any 2.2 for that matter. It probably has the Getrag 5 speed.
not really. B-J obviously made a mistake. There was no 4 speed transmission that could have been used. The last 4 speed 2.2 was in 84, and none were turbos. The Dodge Shadow, on which this car was built, was NEVER offered with a 4 speed manual transmission of any kind. I’d almost guarantee this has the A-555 5 speed transmission since it was introduced in 89 along with all of the other prototype powertrain parts this car has. If not, its a A523….also a 5 speed.

any 2.2 after 84 anyway*
i dont think b.j. makes millions of dollars and makes these kind of mistakes.
its possible being a first year prototype .
