Some legislators are moving to erect a roadblock in front of Gov. Janet Napolitano’s plan to have the state use speed enforcement cameras on highways around Arizona. The Senate Transportation Committee on Tuesday approved by a party-line vote a Republican-sponsored bill to ban use of photo enforcement cameras on state highways. The same panel also endorsed a proposed ballot measure to submit to voters in case Napolitano vetoes the bill.
